How to reserved a car here?

You can rent a car on CarBND at any time of the day simply with a few clicks and without phone calls. Search available cars by location or date. You can also personalize the results based on price, distance, car type and many other filters! In order to make a booking, you have to create a profile by providing some personal information, and you will also need your debit/credit card details for payment.

Who can rent cars on CarBND?

Renters have to be over 21, have a valid driving licence and be a registered user to be able to rent on CarBND.

What is the booking process?

  • 1. Tell us when and where would you like to rent a car, and select the one that best fits the purpose of your trip.
  • 2. Send a booking request! As part of the booking request, you can introduce yourself and also ask any additional questions you may have. You can send booking requests for mulitple cars simultaneously.
  • 3. The owner has 24 hours to approve your booking request, but it usually happens much sooner in our experience. We notify you about the approval in both email and text.
  • 4. Settle the rental fee in order to finalize the booking. Bear in mind that a car can receive multiple booking requests for the same time period - therefore, it's important to pay the rental fee as soon as possible.

How can I contact the owner?

You can conveniently message the owner when you send a booking request or at any time afterwards through our system. We will provide you the phone number of the owner once you settled the rental fee.
It is very important that you have to record every change to the booking on our website. Modifications not recorded on the website can lead to settlement and insurance problems, and can even force us to ban users from our platform.

What happen if i crash the car?

We recommend that you always coordinate with the host and act as you discussed. Nevertheless, the below guidance may help you to handle the different situations.

If there are other people involved, first of all investigate whether anyone suffered personal injury. Contact the appropriate authorities as needed and follow their instructions.

Functional car
If the car is still functioning and is safe and fit for traffic, document the damage and the circumstances and proceed with your trip according to your judgment and the instructions of the host.

Dysfunctional car
If the car is dysfunctional or not fit for traffic, please always proceed according to your discussion with the host. In case the car you rented is covered by AutoPal - Aegon casco insurance + roadside assistance, please call the assistance provider at +36 1 483 2555.

You are fully responsible for any potential damage that you cause in the car, except when the damage is covered by insurance. In this case, your responsibility will be limited in most cases to the insurance deductible. Further, settling an accident claim by the insurance company may increase the mandatory liability insurance premium paid by the host, for which you also have to compensate the host. Please always inspect the car thoroughly during the pickup and the return, and record any damage on both copies of the rental contract. We also recommend to document any damage with photos in order to avoid disputes.
